2025 – The year of Jubilee: Jubilee of Hope

A Jubilee is celebrated every 25 years. The Universal Church is in the preparations for the Ordinary Jubilee 2025 on the theme ‘Pilgrims of Hope.’ “As the first twenty-five years of the new century draw to a close, we are called to enter into a season of preparation that can enable the Christian people to experience the Holy Year in all its pastoral richness,” Pope Francis said. ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ is the motto of the celebrations of the ordinary Jubilee 2025.

HISTORY OF DIOCESE

Church history is a record of our life and witness as people born of the Spirit called to proclaim the Kingdom of God by being the light of the world and salt of the earth.

The History of the Diocese of Baroda is a record of facts and events of this portion of the People of God, concretely present and operative in thirteen districts of the State of Gujarat in India. (cf Can 369)

SYNODALITY : LISTENING TO EACH OTHER, WALKING TOGETHER
